Xapian is an Open Source Probabilistic Information Retrieval library, released under the GPL. Xapian may be used to build powerful, fast search applications over hundreds of millions of documents on a variety of computing platforms.

Lemur Consulting provide a standard support package for Xapian as follows:

• Email and Web based support
• Training
• Support for the entire Xapian distribution including:
• Omega, Scriptindex and Omindex applications
• Python, PHP, Java, Perl, TCL, C# bindings and the standard C/C++ API
• Linux, other Unix, Mac OS X and Windows platforms
• Response times: maximum 8 hours (normal UK business hours excluding public holidays)
